Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training and related instruction in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. Apprenticeship programs can be sponsored by individual employers, joint employer and labor groups, and/or employer associations. Apprenticeship is a kind of job training that involves following and studying a master of the trade on the job instead of in school. Carpenters, masons, doctors, and many other professionals often learn their trade through apprenticeship. It is a job with training. Being an apprentice means that you have a job that includes gaining recognized qualifications and essential skills whilst you are working and earning a wage.

Vision

The vision is to produce the most highly skilled and trained Professional like Business Graduate and also IT expert in the world, ensuring that the art of the skilled trades is not lost. The Daffodil Group is taken this initiative first time in Bangladesh. Creating the real leadership among the people. Mission Daffodil Group has assigned its own concern Daffodil International University (DIU) for the guideline of Apprenticeship Program.

The university has been founded by Daffodil Group with the approval of the Ministry of Education under the Private University Act of 1992 and its amendment in 1998 and Daffodil International University came into being on 24th January 2002, the University today combines impressive modern facilities and a dynamic approach to teaching and research with its proud heritage of service and achievement.
